
One of the key components of the new AtHome American brand was the re-launch of a new sales Extranet. Key to re-organizing content and functionality was understanding that new consultants were joining the company every day, and it was vital that they have an immediate, positive user experience. The first step of the project was to re-architect content from their current Extranet into more cohesive groupings, then restructure the navigation accordingly. The second step was to re-architect the online order entry process, the crown jewel of the Extranet, so it was more intuitive and user friendly. It was a challenging task as there are many intricacies to the order entry process for direct selling consultants. The Extranet and online order entry system served approximately 3000 consultants.
